UNIPG RUN RESTART 2026: The first fun run of the University on 22 October
On 22 October 2026, UNIPG RUN RESTART, the first fun run organised by the University of Perugia, will take place. This non-competitive run will cover just over 5 km through the city, connecting several university locations and promoting sport, well-being and a sense of community.
The event is open to everyone and will also feature a challenge between UNIPG Departments: awards will be given to the Department with the highest number of participants relative to its student enrolment and to the Department that stands out for creativity, enthusiasm and team spirit along the route.
The Department of Engineering is also invited to come together as a team and take part in large numbers!
Participants will gather at 5:00 PM at the Rectorate Gardens in Perugia, with the run starting at 6:00 PM. The route will end at the Bambagioni Sports Centre, where food and drinks will be available for registered participants.
The evening will continue with a talk show dedicated to “Sport and University”, followed by the Race Party, open to everyone, featuring music and entertainment.
Registration is open until 20 October 2026, at 8:00 PM.
