Siamo UniPg: the Department of Engineering welcomes new students on 7 October
On Wednesday, 7 October 2026 , the Department of Engineering at the University of Perugia will welcome its new students for “Siamo UniPg”, the University’s welcome event for students beginning their studies at UniPg.
The event will take place at both the Perugia and Terni campuses and will give new students the opportunity to find out more about the Department, its degree programmes, student services and the many opportunities available at the University.
Throughout the morning, students will have the opportunity to meet faculty members, tutors and student representatives, become familiar with the Department’s facilities and find out who to contact for support during their studies. They will also receive practical information about academic activities and the main services available to students.
Programme – Perugia campus
- 7 October 2026, from 9:00 a.m.
- Room A
The programme will include an introduction to the Department’s degree programmes and postgraduate study options, University services and the Erasmus programme, as well as information about the Teaching Office and the Library. There will also be an information session on the entrance test, followed by presentations by student representatives and the Formula SAE team.
Programme – Terni campus
- 7 October 2026, from 9:00 a.m.
- Room 1
Following the opening remarks, students will be introduced to the Department’s degree programmes, University services and the support provided by the Teaching Office. The programme will also include contributions from student representatives and a tour of the laboratories.
The morning will conclude with a welcome reception from 11:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon.
