Classes start in the month of September.
First-year enrollments typically start in August and usually close by the end of October, meaning that late applications are accepted usually up to two months into the program. However, in order not to miss any classes at the beginning of the term, it is strongly recommended that students submit their application in advance (please do also consider extra time if you need to apply for a visa).
Please do consider that if you are a non-EU student and you don’t have legal residence in Italy, then you must apply for a visa. The complete procedure to get one is described at: https://www.unipg.it/en/international-students/students-wishing-to-enroll
To avoid delays in the visa application process, please do submit your pre-enrollment application as early as possible. Please check the application deadlines in the link above.

The Italian higher education system offers very competitive rates. Students may expect to pay a yearly tuition usually between 150 and 2200 Euros. The exact amount is determined by the Admissions office depending on income.
The tuition covers access to lectures, exams, and the final degree. Purchase of textbooks and stationery, as well as living, housing, and transport costs, is not covered. However, funding opportunities are available.

The program is designed for in-person attendance. Exam sessions must be attended in person. Physical presence at lectures is recommended as it allows better interaction with the instructors.
However, in case of special needs, or if the student may not be able to attend for personal reasons over a certain period of time, online access to the lectures can be granted to allow remote students to follow the lectures live. All our lecture rooms feature the latest generation audio-visual equipment for online broadcasting and remote interaction, and all our lectures can be broadcasted live, if needed.
The standard program duration is three years. Following the typical organization of Italian higher education institutions, the lectures for each subject last approximately one term (about three months), after which the student has eight separate opportunities spread over the course of the entire Academic year to undergo the examination process for that subject.
The examination dates are communicated well in advance, giving the student great freedom to plan ahead which periods to dedicate to exam preparation and which periods to dedicate to other activities, such as group projects or traineeships.
The program is offered both full-time and part-time. Though most students opt for full-time attendance in order to get the most out of the program, some prefer taking the program at a slower pace.
During term time, typical lecture hours are Monday to Friday. Lecture attendance is typically not mandatory. However, the exam sessions must be attended in person. The month of August is typically free for holidays, though students may decide to use the latter part of the month to prepare for exams held in September.
The program is entirely run within the Engineering campus. You can view the campus map here: Campus Map
The Engineering campus occupies a large plot of land at the outskirts of Perugia. The campus hosts most of the Engineering programs offered by the University of Perugia, giving origin to a lively environment of students and instructors. The campus has several recreational areas, is surrounded by nature, and is adjacent to a large park with walking trails and recreational facilities. A large parking lot (free of charge) is reserved within the campus premises for students that prefer to reach the campus with their own car. For those that prefer public transportation, a bus line is available that connects the campus to the center of Perugia via a 15 minute ride, as well as a dedicated train station that connects the campus directly to the main railway routes of central Italy. Furthermore, at walking distance from the campus through the park, students will find the main hub of the cable car service, a popular attraction of the city of Perugia: a scenic ride that reaches all the way up to the historical, medieval center of the city.
Lecture halls, laboratories, the engineering library, and a food court are all within walking distance within the campus premises, as well as recreational areas and open spaces for student aggregation and group work. Students of the Engineering Management program will be able to interact with peers enrolled in many other engineering programs taking place within the campus. The student services office is also located within the premises.
